The Problem

Emptorix was an early-stage startup with research to share and no website to share it on. Everything lived in PowerPoint decks and spreadsheets: index scores, percentage lifts, industry rankings, and long paragraphs explaining what they meant.

Slides like that work in a pitch meeting, where someone walks you through them. A website has no presenter. The numbers were the whole argument, and in slide form a visitor would scroll right past them.

What I Did

I built the site from a blank canvas: the visual design in Figma and the front-end build, delivered in three-week milestones.

Most of the work was translation. I rebuilt each slide as something a visitor could read at a glance. A ten-segment wheel maps the dimensions behind the index, quadrant maps show where brands sit against each other, ranking tables replace pages of scores, and certificates mark the category winners.

It took more than one pass. The first version leaned on bright color and large stat callouts; the final one moved to a darker, more editorial layout with serif headlines.

Before handoff, I tested the UI across major browsers and device breakpoints and fixed the layout inconsistencies that came up, leaving a clean, release-ready front end on desktop and mobile.
